A couple of weeks ago Crossroads (Qld) staff member Simone was one of the 45 265 people who entered the Bridge to Brisbane 2009 Fun Run. Proceeds from registrations each year support various charities and the major charity beneficiary for this year was The Heart Foundation.
After much persuading the modest Simone finally agreed to give us a few photos from the day to share here. These were taken at the finishing line.
Simone says "Here I am looking my finest! I ran the 5kms in the Bridge to Brisbane Fun Run, which actually wasn’t much fun, it was hot, there was a very big hill and lots of prams and walkers needed to be negotiated! I came 2323rd, which is the best place I’ve ever ranked!" (Speedy Simone!)
